Rucksacks are handed out at the start of the expedition, and not before, because in the past when we have tried to hand them out prior to the expedition it has unfortunately resulted in kit being left at home, which hindered the group. It also allows us to aid you whilst packing your rucksack, to make sure it is packed in the most efficient way possible.
