No. During your DofE expedition, you will walk as part of a group of 4–7 participants and will not be accompanied by an adult. This is an important part of the DofE experience, as it gives you the opportunity to demonstrate your independence, teamwork and navigation skills.
However, during your Bronze Practical Training Day, your group will be accompanied by an adult. This allows our team to support you, assess your progress and make sure that you are developing the skills needed to safely complete your expedition independently.
