Yes. If your expedition requires you to miss school, JLGB can provide a letter to your school confirming your participation in the DofE expedition.
To request a letter, please contact the JLGB office on 020 8530 8220 or email dofe@jlgb.org.
We do not routinely contact schools on behalf of participants, as some schools require requests for time off to be made directly by the participant or their parent/guardian. In these cases, we can provide you with a supporting letter to submit to your school.
Please remember that permission to miss school is ultimately at the discretion of your school.
