If you need to use the toilet while walking, tell your group and, where possible, use the toilet facilities at a pub, restaurant or other suitable establishment along the route. You can politely ask if you may use their facilities.
If there are no suitable facilities nearby, you should find a discreet and appropriate location, following the Countryside Code and respecting the environment.
You should never leave the group on your own. Your group must remain together throughout the expedition, so make sure the rest of your group knows where you are and that you have agreed with them before stopping.
