If your school runs DofE with JLGB, you will normally complete your training and expeditions as part of your school group.
An Open Group is for participants who are not completing their DofE through a participating school. You will take part alongside other young people from different schools and backgrounds.
The DofE requirements remain the same, regardless of which group you join.
